Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither related to their commercial activities nor to their self-employed professional activities.

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period is 14 days from the date the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Geographie e.V., P.O. Box 31 01 51, 86062 Augsburg, email: dgfg@geographie.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by mail or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, though its use is not mandatory. You may also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://geographie.de/widerrufsbelehrung/. If you use this online feature, we will immediately send you a confirmation of receipt on a durable medium (e.g., via email) containing information about the content of the notice of withdrawal as well as the date and time of its receipt. You may also fill out and submit the model withdrawal form or another unambiguous statement electronically on our website (https://geographie.de/widerrufsbelehrung/). If you make use of this option, we will immediately send you (e.g., via email) a confirmation of receipt of such a withdrawal.

To comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient for you to send the notice of your intention to exercise your right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.

Consequences of the Revocation

If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery option we offer), without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same payment method for this refund that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees in connection with this refund.

If you have requested that the service begin during the cancellation period, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of the services already provided up to the time you notify us of your exercise of the right of cancellation with respect to this contract, compared to the total scope of the services provided for in the contract.
